1956 Vintage Omega Seamaster 501 Automatic Mens Watch 14k Gold Cap Ref 2846

This is a vintage mens 14K gold capped Omega Seamaster automatic wristwatch in very good working condition. Circa 1956 based on the serial number. 34.2mm wide (not counting the crown) & 42.4mm long (including the lugs). The professionally restored silver colored dial is in excellent condition. The 14K SOLID GOLD capped (acid tested) and stainless steel case is is in good shape with average wear.

SUISSE SWISS MADE PATENT + APPLIED 315164 2846 6 SC 2848 FIT WASHER IN BACK PONGA LA JUNTA EN EL FONDO. The outer cover is stamped. The automatic movement is stamped. OMEGA WATCH CO SWISS TWENTY 20 JEWELS 15651xxx 501. Rotor turns smoothly and does NOT wobble. Runs & keeps good time. Comes with a brand new aftermarket 18mm black genuine leather strap.
