Alpina Startimer Pilot Heritage Automatic Chronograph Watch AL-727LNN4H6. Gorgeous Watch with a Retro. Feel and Presence on the wrist. The Watch has been worn very sparingly in a large rotation and shows vitually no signs of wear. I can see one very light scratches underneath one Lug from a strap change. Very minor but mentioned for full disclosure. The Original Alpina Leather strap and buckle are Completely new and never worn. The Watch keeps excellent automatic time and the unique Monopusher Chrongraph functions perfectly with the center seconds hand resetting at. The 12 as you can see in the pics. The Monopusher Chrongraph (Alpina Calibre AL-727) has only one pusher as the name implies.

Push once to start, once to stop and again to reset. The Case at 42mm seems to wear slightly smaller on the wrist due to the very short Lug design and is extremely comfortable on my wrist. The Watch also sits very close to the wrist and seems much thinner than the stated 14mm. The Lug width is 23mm, but the Watch wears nicely on all my 22mm straps and looks fantastic on vintage brown, black Leather or any type of Nato.

The Watch is a strap magnet and looks great on so many styles. The Watch has a striking blue dial with two silver sub dials a running seconds hand at 9 and a 30 minute counter at 3.

The stick markers are applied and have a pip of lume. The long thin handset is also lumed. The dial has no date and therefore is perfectly symmetrical. The Vintage Style Sapphire Crystal is slightly raised above the Case to perfectly match the overall vintage theme of the Watch. The cushion shaped case has brushed sides and top with a highly polished area extending between the brushed areas from Lug to Lug that catches the light perfectly but subtly.

The Signed Crown is push pull and the water resistance is 100 meters. The Caseback is closed and nicely engraved. As noted above the Watch shows virtually no signs of wear and works perfectly. The Watch is guaranteed to be Authentic and just as described. Alpina booklet and hang tag. The outer box has a bit of shelf wear, but inner box is fine.
