In this listing we have an excellent Audemars Piguet Dual Time Automatic Wristwatch Ref 25685BA in 18K Solid Gold Display Back Case. Audemars Piguet Dual Time models have been a long-standing design of the brand as it is highly functional and popular. Timezone display at 6 oclock with calendar and power reserve displays. The styling of the watch is very elegant and classic with stepped bezel and tapered lugs, for the quintessential gentlemans wristwatch. We could not find an 18K gold hallmark on the exterior case so it was tested and as verifies as 18K solid gold. Since it has a display back with sapphire crystal, there couldve been customization at some point whereby the solid gold caseback containing hallmarks and engravings has been removed to accommodate the display back. Obviously having the display back adds on another fine dimension to the watch to be able to observe its movement. Condition-wise all of the functions for the watch works well but we do not guarantee anything related to function as this watch has not been serviced. Any decision to do maintenance or service is at the sole discretion of the end user/owner. Cosmetically the watch is in good shape with some aging to the dial that is common for a watch of this age. The magnified pictures show the aging very clearly. THE BUCKLE IS NOT AUDEMARS PIGUET AND IT IS A GOLD PLATED ONE.

The strap is signed Audemars Piguet. AGAIN, THE CASEBACK IS POSSIBLY CUSTOMIZED TO A DISPLAY BACK SO THE ORIGINAL 18K HALLMARK CANNOT BE SEEN ANYMORE. We made special effort to describe any foreseeable condition issues ahead of time so THERE IS NO RETURN on this item. It comes with original AP Dual Time Instruction Manual and AP Box.
