OMEGA 2374 BUMPER AUTOMATIC VINTAGE GENTS WATCH PRODUCED IN 1945. Stainless Steel / Rose Gold. This beautiful Omega 2374 bumper Automatic gents watch was produced in 1945 and features a sta i nless steel / rose gold case with multi tone dial. All round condition of this fine WW2 era vintage timepiece is good as can be seen in the images. Two of the lugs on the case have been professionally replaced at some point in the past with stainless steel ones.
The 2374 is a lovely vintage Omega, this example dating from 1945, and features stepped lugs, bumper automatic movement and a larger than average for the time 35mm case. The stainless steel case houses its original Omega calibre 30.10 RA automatic movement which has recently been serviced and is running beautifully. The multi tone dial is in outstanding condition.The two piece case back is excellent and shuts very tightly, which is. Imperative on this model as the tension from the case back is what holds the movement via the clamping spring which can be seen on the movement. The overall condition of the watch is very good (two lugs replaced). Vintage Omega wristwatches of this type have proven to be a very sound investment over recent years, have steadily risen in value year on year and are continuing the trend as they come onto the market less and less over time.
