Vintage Omega 14k Gold GF Black Dial Bumper Automatic Mens Watch 17J 342 1949

This is a vintage wristwatch dating to about 1949. This is beautiful, clean, and in very good condition.

This is guaranteed to be authentic. The case and dial have been restored. The watch runs well and keeps time well enough but it is about 4 minutes fast over a 24 hour period. The time sets as it should.

The case is 14k gold filled and it is about 33mm wide not including the Omega signed crown. It is about 39mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Omega caliber 342 and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new, good quality Glidden Genuine Lizard leather replacement. The total length of the watch is about 9 inches.

This uses a 16mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification.
