Vintage Seiko MACV SOG Vietnam Era Automatic Military Mens Watch 6106-8217 1970
This is a vintage wristwatch dating to April of 1970. This is handsome, clean, and in very good condition. The watch has been professionally cleaned but it has not been polished or restored. The movement has just been serviced.
The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The day and date advance properly and can be quick set using the crown. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 36mm wide not including the original unsigned crown. It is about 42mm long to the tips of the lugs.
The movement is a high quality Daini Seikosha 6106C automatic and it has 17 jewels. The bracelet is original to the watch and is adjustable. It will fit a wrist that is about 8 1/4 inches around and smaller.
The new old stock genuine Seiko crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The untouched, original dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings... This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification.
